1: Current Family Registration
An invitation will be offered to families with students currently enrolled to register for the
upcoming academic year.
2: Registration for New Students
Registration for new students will begin on January 29, 2023 from 9am-noon. This is our
OPENHOUSE/NEW FAMILY REGISTRATION DAY. This is the first day of our Catholic Schools
Week Celebration. Decisions will be made as to which students will be accepted for the
remaining available openings based on the admission criteria below.
3: Post Registration Waiting Lists
When an opening becomes available, a new student will be invited from the current waiting
lists based upon the criteria stated below. It is not based upon how long someone has
been on the waiting list or the perceived position on waiting list. An invitation will be offered from
the entire list of waiting candidates, again based solely on the criteria listed below.
[Please Note: The Initial Point of Entry for Holy Family School is 3 year Pre-K. There will
be a 3 year Pre-K, 4 year Pre-K (new students only) Kindergarten (new students only)
Readiness Assessment in May of 2023. Siblings of current students are not guaranteed
enrollment if enrolling later than 3 year old Pre-K. All newly registered families with incoming
1 st through 8 th grade students are required to provide a copy of a current report card, IEP (if
applicable), test scores, complete an academic screening at Holy Family School and will need
to interview with the principal of the school prior to Full Acceptance.]
Admission Criteria:
Priority #1: Current students enrolled advancing to the next grade level.
Priority #2: Active Parishioner Families [Registered Parishioner Family for at least one year.]
A) Children of parishioner families with children already enrolled in Holy Family School.
B) Those families with the longest history of registration and stewardship to Holy Family
Parish.
Priority #3: Children of non-parishioner families with students already enrolled in Holy Family
School.
Priority #4: Those families newly registered in the parish whose children attended parochial school
at a prior location.
Priority #5: Those families newly registered in the parish whose children are transferring from public
schools.
Priority #6: Other families registered in parishes other than Holy Family.Priority
