Children, Pre-K through 1st grade, have the opportunity to come together during the 10:15am Sunday Mass to hear the Word of God at their level. No registration is necessary. During Children's Liturgy, the Gospel is proclaimed and the children are invited to participate in an age-appropriate discussion about the gospel message. Following this, the children pray together and ask God's intercession for their intentions. They then return to their families before the Liturgy of the Eucharist.
Children's Liturgy of the Word (CLOW) runs from September through May. Occasionally there will be no CLOW due to a holiday.
How can you help?
Adult leaders are needed to lead the Scripture service, reflection and prayers. All content is provided, but leaders are encouraged to plan their lesson as they feel most appropriate.
Helpers are there to assist the leader with set-up, taking down and passing out materials as well as assisting as children return to their families.
All volunteers must have completed the Protecting God's Children training for clearance to volunteer.
